Stamp with Fran : Sweetest Time Bundle

I love the Sweetest Time Bundle from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog! This is one of the cards we made at card class this week.

Paper:

Base: Real Red 8 ½” x 5 ½” scored at 4 ¼”

Layer 1: Whisper White 4” x 5 ¼”

Layer 2: Playful Pets DSP or Heartwarming Hugs DSP (red striped) 1 1/8” x 4”

Layer 3: Real Red 3” x 4 ¼” (die cut with Sweetest Borders Dies – see below)

Layer 4: Whisper White 1 ½” x 3 ½” (die cut with Stitched Rectangles Die)

Whisper White – scrap paper for candy circles and candy cane base

Real Red – scrap paper for candy cane

Supplies:

Real Red Sheer Ribbon 9”

Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels x 8

Whisper White Envelope

Mini Glue Dots

Multi-purpose Liquid Glue

Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine

1/2" circle punch (retired)

Assembly:

Line the top of the die with the top of the Real Red Cardstock along the R side. The die will hang out over the bottom edge. Run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adhere the striped DSP to the top of the Whisper White cs.

Glue the red die-cut candy cane border to the Whisper White cs, lining up the bottom and side; it will overlap the striped paper a little.

Stamp the Greeting on the die-cut stitched rectangle, place Stampin Dimensionals on the back and adhere it being mindful not to cover the top candy cane.

Stamp 5 candy circles and cut them with the ½” circle punch (retired). Place a Red Rhinestone in the center of each candy circle (including the ones on the red border) and attach with Mini Glue Dots. OR, you can diecut 3 Real Red and 2 Whisper White circle dies, add the Red Rhinestones and attach with Mini Glue Dots.

Die-cut one candy cane set, apply a very small amount of liquid glue to the stripes and glue together. Attach it to the red front with Mini Glue Dots. Tie the bow and attach with Mini Glue Dots.

On the inside, I stamped the corner sentiment in the upper right and candy canes and candy circles along the left side. I also stamped candy canes and candy circles on the envelope.
