First gather your supplies:
- Base: Seaside Spray 5½ x 8½" Scored at 4¼". Cut 1" off from the front, leaving a 3¼" card front.
- Layer 1: Night of Navy - Use the decorative dotted edge die from Ornate Layers Dies (about 2¼ x 5½")
- Layer 2: Whisper White 4 x 5", stamp, then cut in half. (makes 2 cards)
- Inside: Whisper White 4 x 5¼".
- Whisper White: 2" circle punch
- Daffodil Delight: 2¼" circle punch
- Night of Navy: 2nd largest scalloped layering circle
- Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon 8"
- Sponge dauber
- Stamp Sets: Peaceful Moments and Blossoms in Bloom
- Inks: Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Seaside Spray and Versamark
- Paper Trimmer
- Adhesives
- Envelope
- Acrylic Blocks
Now
for the fun part! Stamp the two side
edges of the card front with Versamark using two of the single flowers from the
Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set. Set that aside to dry as Versamark can smear.
Using
the very large flower stamp, ink it up with Seaside Spray, but don’t stamp it
yet. Use the sponge dauber and Night of Navy to color in the center
portion of each flower then stamp onto the 4x5” cardstock. Cut it in half
lengthwise after stamping. Add a couple small flowers and leaves with Daffodil
Delight and Granny Apple Green to each half, then adhere to the die-cut.
Stamp
the small circle then glue to the Daffodil Delight, then to the Scalloped
circle. Glue to the card front but to be careful not to put glue past the
center, put a light pencil line on the back. Tie
the ribbon into a bow and adhere with Mini Glue Dots.
The
inside and envelope: Place a faint
pencil line on the cardstock (remember to erase it) so you know not to stamp
past it. Stamp the sentiment with Night of Navy (I actually cut off 'This
special day will bring', but you don't have to). Stamp a flower and leaves on
the inside of the card and on the envelope.
